The 8th Annual Bike Week took place May 11-18, 2019. More than ever, Bike Week included events across all of Kalamazoo County. Thanks to all the organizers, volunteers, committee members and sponsors who made 2019 such a success!

Many of us are already looking ahead and forward to Bike Week 2020. Please see our Organizer Info page for ideas and how to get involved. You are welcome to help shape and join in the week-long (“plus”) celebration! This year we will be holding a Fall Bike Celebration from September 20-22 to welcome the autumnal equinox, as well. There’s lots happening to show that our greater community is becoming even more bicycle friendly.

As the months progress between now and the next Bike Week, we will be updating the calendar to let you know about periodic planning meetings.

The Fix (Youth Bike Repair Clinic)

The Fix is a drop-in bike repair workshop for youth 18 & under to access free replacement bike parts and guidance on making repairs. We can also teach you how to do a tune-up and maintain your bike! If it's your first time at one of our programs this year, bring an adult 18 or over to sign your permission forms. *Anyone 18 and under is welcome to drop-in to this free program. No need to register! Come to one session or all of them - just show up and we'll show you the ropes.
