KBC’s Bike Camp has been canceled in 2020 and postponed until 2021. Please consider the information below as a “sneak preview” of one of the area’s most successful bike training programs.
Bike Camp is an award-winning training program for newer cyclists as well as those returning to the activity. Designed for adults and families with kids 12 or older to learn cyclist’s rules of the road, safe riding strategies, bike and equipment options, comfortable bike fit, training, and nutrition. Bike Camp is held in five sessions, about two to three hours long, with classroom presentations and group rides of roughly 5, 10, and 15 miles. Sessions four and five take place on the Saturdays after Bike Week. Entry fee includes one-year membership to KBC, and entry into KBC’s KalTour annual tour of local country roads.
