Kalamazoo (Area) Bike Week always spans a period in the third week in May, starting the Saturday before Mother’s Day and ending the following Saturday. We also feature a few noteworthy “Pre-Bike Week events.”
During a normal year Bike to Work Day is the third Friday in May and Bike To Work Week begins the Monday after Mother’s Day and ends the following Sunday. In 2020 due to Covid-19 considerations, the League of American Bicyclists is shifting Bike To Work Week to September 21-27 and Bike To Work Day to Tuesday September 22. Please continue to keep your eyes on Bike Week’s Event Calendar and Facebook page @kalamazoobikeweek for announcements about planning meetings and announcements.
